Oil is your vehicle’s lifeblood. It needs proper oil to keep it running smoothly. Motor oil minimizes friction by lubricating, cleaning and cooling critical internal engine components for optimal function. Normal driving will cause motor oil to become contaminated with wear metals, water and even fuel. Every three months or 5,000 kilometers, your vehicle will require an oil and filter change. Check your owner’s manual for the specific recommendations for your vehicle, as vehicles running synthetic oil may be able to go longer between services.
